YET Awards
All casesYET Awards — Giving young Brussels entrepreneurs a stage for their ideas.
THE CONTEXT
Encouraging a new generation to take the entrepreneurial leap
YET — Young Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow — is Brussels’ regional initiative dedicated to encouraging young people to discover entrepreneurship, develop their ideas and turn projects into action. The YET Awards were created to put these emerging entrepreneurs and their projects in the spotlight through a competition that combined social media participation with a closing event.
THE CHALLENGE
Making entrepreneurship engaging and visible
The initiative needed to speak directly to a young audience and transform entrepreneurship into something tangible, accessible and worth engaging with. The challenge was to create momentum around the participants and their projects, generate visibility throughout the competition and give the final recognition a strong collective dimension. Digital activation and physical experience therefore had to work as two parts of the same journey.
OUR RESPONSE
From online participation to real-world recognition
The YET Awards were structured around a competition deployed on social media, giving participating projects a space to be discovered and shared. The campaign culminated in a closing event where the winners were celebrated in front of the wider YET community. This combination connected digital visibility with a tangible moment of recognition and gave the initiative a clear progression from participation to celebration.
SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVATION
Putting the projects in front of the audience
Social media became a central part of the competition, creating a direct environment for presenting projects and involving the community. The format gave young entrepreneurs visibility while creating a more immediate relationship between the initiative, its participants and the audience. The competition itself became content, keeping attention focused on the people and ideas behind the projects.
AWARDS EVENT
Turning recognition into a shared moment
The competition concluded with an awards evening where the winning projects were celebrated. The jury brought together institutional and contemporary voices, including the Brussels Minister for the Economy and Employment as well as influencers Flo Windey and Gui Home. The event gave the initiative a physical expression and created a moment where entrepreneurs, partners and the wider community could meet around the same ambition.
THE RESULT
Putting young entrepreneurship in the spotlight
The YET Awards connected online participation, project visibility and an awards event within one coherent activation. By placing the entrepreneurs and their ideas at the centre of the experience, the initiative gave emerging projects a platform for recognition and made young entrepreneurship visible as a concrete and inspiring path in Brussels.
