MyBank
All casesMyBank — Rethinking a digital ecosystem around clarity and trust.
THE CONTEXT
Bringing clarity to a European payment solution
MyBank is a European online payment solution connecting consumers, merchants and financial institutions. The challenge was to rethink its digital ecosystem so that the brand, website and acquisition channels could communicate with greater clarity and consistency. The objective was not simply to redesign the website, but to create a more coherent environment capable of explaining the solution, building trust and addressing different audiences across multiple markets.
THE CHALLENGE
Making a complex service easier to understand
Online payments involve a combination of technology, security, financial institutions and different user profiles. Yet the experience needs to remain simple. The challenge was therefore to structure complex information without oversimplifying it, while creating an experience capable of speaking clearly to consumers, merchants and partners. At the same time, the new ecosystem needed to strengthen MyBank’s credibility and ensure consistency between brand identity, website content and digital acquisition.
OUR RESPONSE
An ecosystem designed as one coherent experience
We approached the project as a connected digital system rather than a succession of independent deliverables. Digital identity, information architecture, UX/UI, content, SEO and SEA were developed to work together around the same objective: making MyBank easier to understand, easier to navigate and more consistent across all its digital touchpoints. This integrated approach allows the brand experience and acquisition strategy to reinforce one another rather than operate separately.
DIGITAL IDENTITY
Translating reliability into a visual language
We evolved MyBank’s digital identity through its colour palette, iconography, contrast principles and interface system. The objective was to translate the qualities that matter most in online payments — simplicity, clarity and trust — into a contemporary, accessible and coherent visual language. The result is a flexible identity capable of supporting the brand across its website and wider digital communication ecosystem.
WEBSITE & USER EXPERIENCE
Structuring information around real user needs
The multilingual and responsive website was redesigned around the needs of MyBank’s different audiences.
The information architecture clarifies the paths through the content, while a coherent system of interface components makes information easier to read and understand. Content was also reworked around benefits rather than unnecessarily technical language, helping users understand the solution, build confidence and naturally access the information or action they are looking for.
SEO & SEA
Connecting visibility with the brand experience
SEO was integrated into the foundations of the new website through its semantic structure, optimised metadata, internal linking and content aligned with relevant search intentions and priority markets. SEA campaigns complement this organic foundation through targeted acquisition, consistent messaging and appropriate tracking. Rather than treating SEO and paid media as separate layers, both were aligned with the same digital identity and user experience.
BRAND CONSISTENCY
Extending the system beyond the website
The new visual language was extended across presentations, digital visuals and various communication materials. This approach allows MyBank to maintain the same level of clarity and consistency beyond the website, creating greater continuity across its different touchpoints.
THE RESULT
A clearer and more coherent digital ecosystem
MyBank now benefits from a digital ecosystem in which identity, content, user experience and acquisition have been designed as one system. A more structured environment that makes a complex payment solution easier to understand while providing the brand with a coherent foundation for its communication and digital visibility across European markets.
