THE CONTEXT

Bringing #UseYourVote to life inside the Parliament

For the European elections held from 6 to 9 June 2024, the #UseYourVote campaign needed a strong and continuous presence inside the European Parliament. The challenge was to create an immediately recognisable information point within a busy institutional environment. The solution needed to be visible, welcoming and flexible enough to adapt to different configurations and key moments.

THE CHALLENGE

Creating impact in a constantly changing space

A fixed installation would have offered too little flexibility in an environment where visitor flows, events and use of the space continuously evolve. The challenge was therefore to design a system that could be quickly assembled, moved and reconfigured while maintaining strong visual impact and readability. At the same time, the design needed to respect the institutional character of the European Parliament and withstand intensive use throughout the campaign period.

OUR RESPONSE

Modularity at the service of the message

We designed a modular system capable of adapting to the constraints and opportunities of the building. Interchangeable formats, variable heights and reversible angles allow the configuration to evolve according to visitor flows and available spaces. Each module communicates a specific aspect of the campaign — information, education or call-to-action — while together they create one clearly identifiable visual landmark. Modularity therefore became more than a technical solution: it became an integral part of the communication system.

DESIGN & VISUAL HIERARCHY

Institutional, clear and accessible

The design combines clean lines, durable materials and carefully considered finishes to create a structure that fits naturally within its environment. The information hierarchy was designed to make messages easy to understand within seconds, including from a distance. Every surface serves a clear purpose and naturally directs attention towards the essential content. The installation therefore creates a strong presence while respecting the architecture and everyday use of the space.

MODULARITY & MOBILITY

Designed to evolve quickly

The system was developed for intuitive assembly without specialised tools, using secure connections and integrated cabling for lighting and screens. Once dismantled, the entire structure can be stored in dedicated transport cases and easily moved from one location to another. This approach enables teams to adapt the installation quickly according to the needs of each moment.

THE RESULT

A strong and flexible campaign presence

Throughout the campaign, the installation provided #UseYourVote with a continuous and clearly identifiable presence in the European Parliament lobby. The result is a robust and reusable system combining visibility, functionality and mobility, ready to be reconfigured for future communication moments.
