KBR - James Ensor
All casesKBR Brussels × “James Ensor. Inspired by Brussels”
Context
In the heart of Brussels, KBR presents “James Ensor. Inspired by Brussels”, exploring how the city shaped the artist’s work. Our brief: convey the full scope of the exhibition and create content for web and print that stays true to the curatorial intent.
The challenge
How do you make the Ensor–Brussels relationship felt, beyond simple installation shots? We set out to capture atmosphere, telling details, and deliver reusable editorial material (website, social, press, publications).
Our role
We produced a photo reportage as a visual narrative: wide shots, artwork close-ups, textures, visitor gestures, and dialogues between rooms and the Palace of Charles of Lorraine. Each image was edited and captioned for immediate use across KBR channels.
Channels & deliverables (web & print) Curated image library (selection, editing, consistent color). Artwork & scenography captures (close framing, lines, circulation). Web assets: banners, article visuals, mini carousels. Social assets: short formats, motion-ready snippets, copy hooks. Press & print: HD visuals, captions/credits, suggested spread layouts.
Editorial impact
A unified story for web and social, signature images embodying Ensor’s dialogue with Brussels, and a durable visual base for KBR’s future publications. Learn more: kbr.be
